Fit for fight

Laguradia will be able to start pre-season with the rest of the team.

It’s been 17 months since Victor Laguardia very unfortunate injured his knee in a duel with Arizmendi during a training-session. He was operated and the outcome was said to be successfull.
The canterano was exaggerated:

- In july I’ll exercise alongside the others again. I refuse to give up hope, I shall follow my team from the stands for so long and I promise that I will be able to train with them again before this summer is over. I do not worry – this fall when I get back we will still be in La Primera, my chance will arrive then instead. I am certain about that, he said.

And for a long time, everything seemed to go according to Laguardia’s plans, but during training camp in Navaleno last summer however came the backlash.
The knee had not healed as it should and Lagu was forced to undergo surgery once more because the meniscus hadn’t grown as it was supposed to have; this turned out to be an operation that ultimately had to be corrected with an additional intervention and another year vanished for him.

Today, after a week filled with declarations of bankruptcy and economic darkness we finally got some good news when one on Zaragoza’s official website announced that Laguardia now has recieved “el alta medica” and will be able to start the preseason with the rest on July 11th.
Here’s hoping it works all the way this time.

Real Zaragoza needs Victor Laguardia; generally the club is in dire need of more people like him, with his great heart and his fighting spirit.
People you just know will be there through anything.
At least for as long as it’s up to them to decide.

“Soy zaragocista y por mi mente solamente pasa recuperarme totalmente y triunfar en el equipo de mi tierra.”
